BBQ Chicken Tacos: A Slow Cooker Meal

1 ½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

1/3 cup barbecue sauce

8 Gluten Free or Flour Tortillas

Optional toppings:

Chopped lettuce

Chopped Onions or Pickled Red Onions



Sour Cream

Shredded Cheese

Black Bean and Corn Salsa

Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and top with barbecue sauce. Cook on low for 6 hours. After cooking time is up use tongs or two forks to shred chicken and mix with sauce in bottom of crock pot.

If desired place tortillas one at a time in a dry skillet over medium heat and heat tortilla for about 1 minute on each side.

Place tortilla on plate, top off with shredded BBQ and desired toppings! Enjoy!

This is my favorite with an Siete Almond Flour tortilla, guacamole salsa, Black Bean and Corn Salsa, Pickled Red Onions, taco sauce and shredded is one of my favorite meals!
